Why is homelessness an important issue

It is one of the most devastating and dangerous situations where the victims on the streets are most susceptible to violence. There are reports where rough sleepers have been deliberately kicked or hit by others. It leads to several health issues and an increase in drug-related deaths.  Such people are most susceptible to drug-related poisoning and suicide.
